I’m speechless! Like for real!
Jescie is a fenomenal writer! Not only the plot was good, but the way she told the story, giving us the information we needed at the right time. Is like Aero’s mastermind plan.
Writing about religion aspects is always dangerous, because religious people don’t really like to read about it. But we all know the horrors the Catholic Church committed in name of God, money or power. And reading about it, reading about someone taking their revenge, and taking back what they stole…. Was epic!

I don’t want to tell you much about this book, because nothing will beat going in blind, and discovering for yourself.
I will tell you this though: Aero set a plan to bring down the Catholic Church, with all her lies. He grow up in it, and he knows better than anyone, what people who proclaim themselves as righteous are hiding.
While doing that, he brings an unknowing Briony to the plan. This sweet innocent Catholic girl, that is so oblivious to the church’s sins and the target on her back.
One of the things I like most about this book was the fact that Aero didn’t tell her anything, he just let her figure it out by herself. Life a therapist, they don’t give you the answers, they help you figure it out for yourself, and come to your own conclusions.
The depraivity, the sex scene, the stalking, the kidnapping, and everything else was a plus.
The fact that she was the one who save him. Usually in books is always the FMC that is kidnapped, or put in danger, or something like that. But here is the complete opposite. And I love it! It was so refreshing!
The last scene of the epilogue killed me! Never would I thought, in my wildest potential plot lines that Briony would do that. That clever bitch!
This two were a match made in heaven!
This book is perfection. Is extremely dark. And so if you are catholic, I don’t think that you would be okay reading this book. So probably stay away from this one.

The thing that kept me thorn was how slow paced the book was. Or rather, I was anxious to know where the story was going, and not being able to see the plot, or part of the plot is great. But it was terrifying, because I didn’t want it to be disappointed, so I took my time reading this. I was dragging it along, afraid I wouldn’t like the end. And I was so stupid! Jescie did such a good job!
She built a story with so many layers, like an onion, and when you peal one, and then other, and another, you stand at a landline waiting to fuck all your theories!
This was one of the most darkest and dirtiest stuff I ever read. But the characters have so much depth, trauma, emotion, and growth.
And at the same time this book is so filthy!
The scene in the sex club? Not the first one, the other one… I’m dead!
Do yourself a favor and go read this book.
But clear your day, because you won’t want to be interrupted. This book will just suck you right in, and keep you hooked in every page turn.

Note: for what I can gather, a lot of people compare Aero to Zade (from hunting Adeline). I haven’t read HA, but, for what I saw in reviews, this two are completely different! One is not superior to the other. They’re just completely different! Please don’t trash a book, just because you compare it to an incomparable thing. From what I gather the only thing that this two have in common, is that they are both Alpha male, and stalkers. That’s it!
If you want to compare it, compare it to Harley Quinn and the Jocker, and their toxic love.
Okay bye.
Happy readings

This book has been sitting on my shelf for a bit and has been REALLy hyped up in the dark romance booktok community. Now I am a dark romance girl through and through but I have been led astray a few times and was nervous to pick this up. Boy was I WRONG. This book was incredible. It was dark, filthy, messed up and exactly the way I wanted to start my spooky reading month. Please read the trigger warnings in addition to the warnings about religious trauma. If any of those bother you, this book is NOT for you. Briony is a badass, I will admit it took me a little bit to warm up to her but the way she takes her power back and owns her sexuality?! It was beautiful. And don’t even get me started on Aero. What a beautiful broken tattooed tortured man. Is he crazy? Yes. Is he fucked up? Yes. Is he unhinged? Yes. Do I still want him? 100%. This may have taken the top spot for my favorite dark romance. Wonderfully written, pacing was excellent, I loved everything about it.

Audio book was 10000/10. I highly recommend doing the audio book while reading this one. I have no words to say after reading this one tbh. Other than, this book was heavy on the trauma so please check your trigger warnings especially if you’ve ever been SA’d or Molested. Like I’ve read Dark books before but this book felt too real. It defitnitly hits differently.

Lots of good good spice. Plot was a bit shaky, felt like it didn’t entirely concluded. Otherwise excellent. And Joe Arden is a god on the audio!

Before reading this book, make sure to check your trigger warnings. It covers some deep and heavy subjects.

Briony is a devoted Catholic determined to climb the ranks in a male dominate world. She soon discovers that she has a stalker and then finds out someone is trying to kill her. And her life isn’t what she thought it was.

Aero is a damaged individual that has serious issues regarding religion and God. He survived unspeakable things and he has committed his life to revenge. Until he sees her and becomes obsessed and consumed with her.

This book was a dark and steamy romance. It was well written, but did have some parts of the book where it lagged. Overall, a good book with lots of spice.

This book is amazing. You see the female character develop so much during this book. The male character changes a lot too. It is an extreme dark romance with lots of triggers if that is a problem. I have found nothing to compare this with yet.

This book took me on an intense emotional ride. I absolutely loved this stalker dark romance. Aero pushed the boundaries of depravity with Briony, leaving me shocked yet captivated. The writing skills of Jescie are exceptional, immersing me in a world of dark sensuality. The character development and world-building are top-notch. This was an intense and deliciously dark read, though it's not for everyone due to its explicit content. It's a book that elicits strong emotions, and Jescie's writing continues to impress. The audiobook version took my reading experience to new heights. Narrated by Joe Arden and Desiree Ketchum, it was an absolute treat for the ears. Joe Arden, in particular, surprised me with his interpretation of the characters, bringing an extra layer of depth and intensity to Aero's persona. His portrayal was simply captivating. Desiree Ketchum also delivered a fantastic performance, embodying Briony's journey with authenticity and emotion. Together, their voices perfectly complemented the dark and seductive atmosphere of the story. Listening to the audiobook allowed me to fully immerse myself in the world created by Jescie. The combination of the author's exceptional writing skills and the talented narrators elevated the experience to a whole new level of enjoyment. If you're a fan of audiobooks, I highly recommend experiencing this story in this format. The narrators absolutely nailed it, enhancing the already gripping narrative and making it even more memorable. Bravo to the author and the talented narrators for a remarkable experience.
