Wow. This was quite the read!

There is a lot that goes on in this book, sometimes it's a bit all over the place. But by the end it all comes together smoothly.
The world building is amazing. From all the different creatures you briefly are introduced too, to the unknown monsters. I enjoyed that this book has creatures unlike every other book. It's not just filled with vampires and wolf's. It's filled with ghosts and monsters ive never heard of.

I loved Telerion (I probably spelt that wrong) he's not the sweet loving monster you always seem to find in books. He's ruthless yet protective.
August is strong and determined, and sassy. Which works perfectly.
Quentin is a mystery that I can't wait to learn more about!!

I can't wait for the next book, because the order is up to something and I need to know what it iss!

Slow burn. And that cliffy!

I loved this book. It is book 1 in a series, so no Insta-$ex in it. In face, the closest to $ex in it is feeding time.

The bond is there at the start of the story and makes me wish to know the first meeting between monster (abberation) and New Blood (rift walker).

If you're looking for Dark, Dirty, Rough, BDSM - please look elsewhere, it's not here. But if you like your monsters, they're here. In many forms.

What??? No!!!

Alright, I've been a big fan of Debbie Cassidy for a while now and this book proves exactly why. I devoured this one in a few hours. I simply couldn't put it down.

I am loving this cast. August is a FMC with a serious mystery on her hands. That ending? Ugh, I cannot wait until April to see what happens next!
