I really enjoyed this book. It was just a great chick-lit book. It reminded me very much of the days of Bridget Jones and Jemima J...and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I loved the main character Millie, who was down to earth, funny, charming and just self-deprecating enough that she was silly, but not stupid and annoying as some chick-lit protagonists can be.

But it was the varied cast of characters that I really enjoyed. Millie's best friend and roommate Hester who is slightly annoying and stupid, but hilarious in that way. Millie's playboy boss, her eccentric mother, her sweet as pie father, her new friend novelist Orla Hart, the myriad of men, and of course...Hugh Millie's crush...

such a varied and colorful cast of characters that made this book enjoyable, fun, and entertaining every step of the way.

A quick easy read, somewhat predictable, but still with enough surprises to make it refreshing and new.

This was an absolutely bonkers, laugh-out-loud, big warm cuddle of a novel. So much fun.

This was a fun chicklit as we are used of by Jill Mansell.

I love Brit humour! Hugh is hilarious and I really enjoyed all his conversations with Millie. Laughing out loud while reading a book doesn't happen to me too often so I'm grateful for this one intelligent character. However, rest of the book proved rather boring.

So far, this book is wonderful! It's fun and witty, and I'm not even half-way through the book. I can't wait to see what is in store for Millie!

I loved this cute and charming read. I enjoyed the characters, storyline, and realize that I really like British chicklit (this, Shopaholic, & Bridget Jones). I'll definitely be looking for more from this author. This book is pure chicklit fluff, don't read it expecting anything else, but if you like that genre I highly recommend this book.
