The Eleventh Hour coming might be The Adventure Zone's best physical installment yet! Our favorite characters and lines remained the same, but Carey Pietsch and the gang took some creative liberties that really just helped with the immersion. Making a podcast into a comic can't be a one-to-one fix, and I think they did a perfect job with this. Absolutely sobbing and can't wait for Suffering Game.

Bonus points for the "Lup" being in cursive. So correct for that.

oh this is exquisite. the way the mystery is unfolding is making my chest hurt in the absolute best way. every character's arcs are so so well explored here. merle and his choices with his family; magnus and julia and raven's roost; and of course, taako and glamour springs, as well as TAAKO AND LUP. and oh god barry. lucretia. fuck it hurts so much. it's just so so good. i laughed finding out why sazed is philippe now. i love my main man kravitz. i love these characters. i love the stories and arcs they explore in refuge. i love the way everything is getting more tense and the mystery is unfolding further and we're getting sooooo close to figuring it all out. every other page i'm either laughing or wanting to rip my heart out of my own chest. typical adventure zone!! i can't believe i only have one more before i have to wait for more to come out!! i'm infuriated by this!! it's too good to wait for!!

I do really love the characters and story, but this is the first one where I felt like a lot was missing in the transition from podcast to book. I just wanted more and it felt like things were more rushed. I don't know how else they could have done it, without making the book much longer, but I foresee this becoming a problem in later books too.
