Simple color board book. I pick up one of these from the library and I ask myself - why did I put this on hold? And often I really don't remember. For this one it's probably that one of the other books by this author was pretty good. This was okay. It had a few mild jokes but no through story. The art was nothing special - which is actually fairly typical for the artist - who I mostly don't appreciate. meh. There are better color books. This one isn't actually bad, it's just not all that good.

Cute crayons, each with a personality of it's own. Slightly disappointed that the companion book, The Crayons' Book of Numbers, uses many of the same illustrations. Wouldn't buy both.

Always a hit at books and babies. My crowd likes to point and shout.

On its own: it's a cute story.

Knowing the background: it's literally the same book just smaller and more card board for the variety of children who can't stop themselves from chewing on their books still.

Three stars because I feel like I should have known but also without knowing it IS cute.

I love the Crayons' stories. Reading this allowed me to see why the Crayon family later became frustrated with Duncan.

This series is one of my favorites! They’re so funny while simultaneously being really educational about colors
