I wanted so much more out of Scott but he was just a little too perfect and loving and... caricature. Towards the end Kip jokes about how he's 'America's perfect boy' and that pretty much sums him up.

Kip though? Loved him. He is precious and endearing and I just want to put him (and Elena, tbh) in my pocket and protect him like Gollum with the one ring. I'd read a whole book just about Kip and his friendships.

I did heavily skim over the last few chapters because I was just tired of Scott, especially after the conflict leaned a little too heavily on their instalove bond for resolution. The on ice kiss was cute though.

This book was soooo cute. I became attached to Scott and Kip really quickly and I loved their romance. I am not giving it 5 stars because there were times I was super frustrated with them and the decisions they were making (and not necessarily in a good way). I also found the ending to be really rushed (even if it was very sweet).

Overall, I really enjoyed this book, and I will definitely be continuing the series.
