Als Kind habe ich das Buch geliebt. Jetzt im Erwachsenenalter finde ich leider manche Textstellen schlecht gealtert, wie es ja sehr häufig so ist mit Büchern aus den 90ern. Die Hauptpersonen geben für die Kürze des Buches überraschend viele negative Kommentare über die Körper ihrer Mitmenschen (auch Freunde) ab, die eigentlich fast alle mit ihrem Gewicht zu tun haben. Soll vielleicht witzig sein. Für Menschen, die damit kein Problem haben, ist es vielleicht noch in Ordnung, darüber hinwegzulesen, aber für Kinder finde ich es unangemessen.

Abgesehen davon habe ich die Handlung auch noch mal wieder als Erwachsene verschlungen.
