This was a fairly decent, short, primer on the summer cross-quarter! I continue to enjoy the list of associations and such in the backs of each book. I was fairly happy to see this author emphatically emphasize the modernity of Wicca and the cultural mish-mashing of many of the Wiccan perspectives on the Wheel of the Year.
Moderate: Body horror
Minor: Sexual content

Great book on a holiday that is often forgotten/overlooked. Has some great celebration ideas, as well as being a tremendous help in doing the difficult--distinguishing what makes Lugnasadh different from its quarter sabbat counterparts, Litha and Mabon.

I found this series on TikTok and read this one leading up to the sabbat. This is so good for beginner witches and experiences witches, I really liked the history and definitely added a new ritual to my usual traditional ones that I practised

Quick, concise, and full of information. This book is broken down into 6 main sections, and also includes a bibliography & a section for further reading!! Knowledge of celebrations from many societies is included, as well as corresponding celebrations/god(dess)s from cultures that may predate the existence LĂșnasa, such as Roman & Egyptian.
I'm very much looking forward to reading the whole series.
