Another brilliant read!!

At the end of every book I do still wonder if there will be another!

Helen Hardt you have kept me gripped throughout this series and I can't thank you enough!

I've read all these through lockdown, and after such a gloomy couple of years, reading a good book (or series in this case) makes it so worth it!

More of Dale and Ashley!! It is excellent!

Dale can’t have live in his life, that’s what he thinks He’s fallen in love with Ashley, his intern, but keeps her away because she deserves better than him. Ashley adores him, and will make him see that he’s deserving of love!!! When things look like they may work for them, Dales biological father reveals information that rocks Dale..

What is revealed, what happens? I’m not telling because this book is,like all Helen Hardt books, so worth the read that I don’t want to ruin it for anyone.

I love that Helen had taken the time to write Dale’s story. The is so much that he is dealing with and struggling with. One thing he is dealing with is having his biological father show up. He is also dealing with his feelings for Ashley while trying to keep his dark past hidden.

Once again Helen Hardt creates characters the readers cannot get enough of. Dale Steel has everything he could ever ask for: loving family, a vineyard that exceeds all expectations and wide open spaces to feed his soul, but this man can only be described as broken and hurting. Falling in love with Ashley should be easy, but for Dale it is the hardest thing he will ever have to do because when you love someone you have to let them in and to let them in you have to give up your secrets....too many secrets that he still has yet to overcome. But in true Helen Hardt fashion the depravity of Dale's scars can be felt with every move he makes. Can you really find happiness when in order to be loved you have to expose your broken self? 5 Stars are not enough!!

Hot, sensual and mysterious, this captivating read is highly addictive. Five stars for another enthralling visit with the Steel family.

I do not feel cherished, to be honest. This book is suppose to be nail bitting suspense. After all we are talking about Miss Hardt.

Instead I got really annoyed. Annoyed with Ashley and Dale. Their chemistry becomes rude, selfish, forced and annoying. Dale self pity character making everything worse. While Ashley became needy.

The suspense is not as intense as the precious books in this series.

Overall, still OK read.

I love these books so much, but I think the second book in Dale and Ashley's story might be one of my favorites. I think their relationship developed so well and I loved the parallels to Jade and Talon. I also loved how present those two were in this book. Talon and Dale's relationship has come so far and their conversations were incredibly important. The wine, I can't not talk about the wine. I feel like I'm learning so much and really enjoy that it's the background of the story. It's also a huge part of Dale and Ashley's growth and it just fits so well. There is a ton of healing in this book and seeing Dale open up like he did was amazing. I am so excited to see how their story wraps up and I'm OBSESSED!!!
