This book was so good I couldn't put it down! I had no idea that Gerda existed and now that I can view her pictures online and know who she is, I am going to tell everyone about her. I loved this book.

I enjoyed the story and the history but I feel if it wasn’t in verse it wouldn’t have felt somehow slower to read

I was hoping to really get to know Greta, but I didn’t feel like I ever really got to know her. It read like little chunks of a diary or a highlight reel.
