Trigger warnings: Drug use, domestic violence/abuse, gun violence, kidnapping, brief mentions of adult/minor relationships.
I don't know if I can honestly say that this book was completely unique from others in its genre, but that definitely did not stop me from enjoying it, and I can honestly say that there were a number of twists I didn't see coming. It's fairly standard fare for those who enjoy missing girl mysteries, but it's well written and has a solid storyline with characters who feel like people you would actually care about. I especially liked the epilogue and the way the story wrapped up. This book left me wanting to seek out more of the author's work.
