Everything about this volume was confusing. The pacing of the chapters and especially the transitions between scenes were jarring. The relationship development felt like we were back at square one from the prior volume and I don’t really like our main couple together. My favorite character was also less present this time so I hope they are do more in the next issue. Overall the best part is the art. This artist never ceases to make an immersive and engaging world through Moonstruck

This series is adorable. I love everyone and I love how they work together to solve problems, both external and internal.

Stuff makes even less sense and is more disjointed than the first volume. I’m so confused and am hoping things are explained more in the next volume. Also a lot of the characters are starting to irritate me.

2 stars - It was ok

While this has cute art, the story didn't really hold up for me. I just didn't find the fairy party storyline.  I didn't love Julie and Selena. Their relationships was very rocky in this and it kind of ruined them for me. I do still really love the friendship between Julie and Chet though.

Also I found the Pleasant Mountain Sister comics distracting.

OMG, this is adorable! It’s such a cute comic with a fun story, with representation for days! Plus, it’s obvs geared to a younger crowd, but still accessible to us who are older. Much fun! (My apologies - I read all 3 volumes close together so I don't have separate reviews for all of them - but each is fantastic!)
