Nero from the start was a sweetheart even if he was cold hearted and ābadā. You could tell from the start that he was going to end up falling for the girl he never noticed. Camille was a sweetie. She acted like she didnāt want to fit in or that she didnāt care about the opinions of other people, but as the story went on you see that get expanded on. I liked them both together and I liked how well they fit eachother.
I also love how there was no 3rd act conflict š was surprised by that but it was insanely refreshing. The spice in it was hot and I love the drawings that get included every few chapters that expand on what is currently playing out.Ā

Meanwhile the Gallos are on to their next project with Gallo Construction. Nero has the idea for the next project which would be the South Works site. They donāt have enough capital at the moment for it, despite partnering with the Griffins combined. So Nero gets the idea to rob Alliance Bank, cozying up to Raymond Page, the owner of the bankās daughter, Bella.
Camille finds out her father has cancer, and convinces Nero to let her in on the heist as the getaway driver. She wants in on it so she can help pay her dadās medical bills, and pay for Vicās upcoming college. He eventually agrees. All the while both Nero and Camille are falling for each other, as the confide more and more in each other.
