Really enjoyed the chapters where specific individuals and their medical maladies were explored and analysed. Great stuff. Just felt the very general chapters (hair, blood, ageing, etc.) were too generic to feel relevant, particularly given the model that had been set up by the opening chapters about Napoleon's ulcer. As a result, the book feels unfocused, but I can't bring myself to give a bad star-rating because I did at least learn a thing or two (which, really, is the point, isn't it?).
