OH MY GOSH THIS BOOK!!!!! I absolutely loved it!! I was hooked med from the very first sentence and it hardly ever let me go from then! At first I thought the romance between Kai and Paedyn developed too quickly, but I crushed hard on someone because of one conversation so I changed my mind after that 🤣
Is Lauren Roberts the next Tolkien? No. Does she need to be? Also no. This book was so good at what I think it was supposed to be, fun! 10/10 would read and recommend, as I now desperately need Reckless!!

This was a good book. It wasn't spectacular, but I enjoyed it. It is definitely written for YA or teens, even. It has kind of childish writing. Like I'm reading a well written Wattpad fanfiction. But once I got over that and the sort of really obvious tropes, I enjoyed it. And I really loved a lot of the characters and their relationships (cheesy writing/tropes aside).

my first thought was this was something i would write in english class, second this is the hunger games but with magic, third how were there so many typos?! the banter was bantering… but perhaps too much? “he says my name like its sacred like its an oath hes swearing” THATS IT THATS ALL KILL ME
