This book took me six weeks to finish, and yet I raced through the last half in about three hours. I thought it was very well done, and the ending slotted in perfectly. Because of how I read the book (in e-book form, when e-books are my most-hated method of reading a book) the reading experience was heavily impacted, as you can tell from the time it took me to get through most of it. Still: the atmosphere was perfect, I was left in a haze once I finished it, and I now have an incredible respect for ballerinas.

As a ballet student who is aspiring to one day become a professional dancer, this was such a compelling and interactive story to follow.  I loved all the familiar dance aspects that were included throughout the book.  It was such a reflective work that I thought really captured the complex world of ballet. Would highly recommend to other dancers!
