I love Maya and her spunk even though she tried so hard to be someone else when she was perfect exactly the way she was. Caleb was fantastic, even though he missed a lot, he was there when it really mattered. Awesome read.

3.5 stars. Good story, well paced for a relatively short book. Interesting characters. Nice change of pace from other things I've been reading.

This is delightful. I really enjoyed the heroine's unconventional family, which I think helped this book transcend being just another romance novel.

Oh, the drama at the end—it was cinematic. I liked the heroine's quirky family. I did not like the heroine's out of character action that sets the main plot in motion.
