Okay…

There was entirely too much going on in one book. A serial killer introduced for no reason, and so many other inconsistencies - like how Nikolia is Russian but his brother has a distinctly West Coast accent. Everyone is great at absolutely everything and it irked me to no end. It also went on for several more chapters than needed, which detracted from the love story for me. It was still an okay read.

150 pages. It was Russian-Scottish, really handsome, rich, owner of awesome cars and his own firm with the taste for dominance. Just too much. And there was that brutal killer case so I had that feeling that before happy ever after Nicolai will be saving her life, catching the killer and maybe doing some other spectacular things. Too much for me.

I was drawn to this book due to the bit about the heroine not standing to be touched, so I decided to give it a try.

While it wasn't perfect, it was an enjoyable enough read, so I'm giving it 3 stars.

Pros:
- aforementioned psychological state of the heroine;
- the hero, Nikoli, is one of the biggest manwhores ever (who can resist them?);
- the push and pull between Lily and Nikoli;
- Nikoli's seduction games;
- Lily is pretty awesome - she has a clever, bookish side, but she is also a serious gamer and car connoisseur

Cons:
- insta-lust between the protagonists, when she was supposed to be in love with someone else;
- Nikoli's attitude towards women - he really didn't respect them or cared whether they got hurt with his hit-and-ditch routine. He thought women were all a bunch of liars and cheaters who only knew to fuck around and that pissed me off;
- seriously, all Lily and Nikoli seemed to do of their lives was eating in various places around town

Recommended for those who want a light and easy read.

Loved it!!! I think this book is a stereotypical YA novel but I honestly don't mind it. Not too many tropes and not too cheesy. The banter between Nikolai and Lily is amazing and honestly the characters are well written and then well developed through our the book.

Dominate tendencies at such a young age. Man whore, yes, Dom, not believable at all.

And yet again, an author details the "heroes" sex scenes with other woman.

I see no point in it. We KNOW he is all that, how about making the heroines as awesome, confident, experienced and dominant??????????????????
