“Real courage is to feel fear, but to stand and face it, not run from it.”

I am LOVING this series. This book ended on a cliffhanger and now I cannot wait for the third book to come out. It’s not often I feel that way about a book series. Okra may just be one of my favorite characters of all time now. She is everything. Her rage is justified and awe-inspiring.

The amazing creatures and characters so full of life just make the world of the Bloodsworn Saga feel incredibly real and I’m immediately pulled in to their story. The battle scenes are so well written, I sometimes realize I’m holding my breath as I read them lol. I feel like I learned a good deal about fighting and Viking gear that I didn’t know, and some of the magical creatures in this story both fascinate and haunt me. There are even some great animal (creature?) companions who stole my heart.

John Gwynne is my new favorite author and I’ll be reading his other book series very soon!

“Face death enough times and you become used to the company of those raven-wings.”

I don't even have a real written review because I'm not okay. 😢 This book was fantastic though and I can't wait to read the next one and see how John Gwynne concludes this series!

Muy buen libro, interesante.

Los personajes están bien desarrollados y me parece acertado la inclusión de nuevos.
