I just want to read domestic thrillers forever, so I'm not at all objective.
The story has two twists, one obvious and one not very obvious- though after some considering maybe I wasn't paying attention and it was. The story was oh so slow and it dragged, but I came for the tedium of domesticity and I got it. No complaints here.

A good plot, but I felt like the middle dragged on too much. I read it after “Local Woman Missing” and I expected that level of writing. I might have liked it better if I had read this first.

DNF at 40% + it was spoiled for me
So not only could I not get into this book, but I didn’t like any of the characters. This is my second Mary Kubica book and. I just don’t think she’s for me. Also, I had my theories about the twist and confirmed it via spoilers because I just couldn’t read this book any longer.

Wow. Okay so I loved the feeling of calling a "big twist" early on and then there being another twist I didn't see coming and so it makes me think, was the first twist even a twist? Was I not just super smart? I'm starting to have doubts... lol

HOLY MOLY I DON’T HAVE WORDS. ONE OF THE BEST THRILLERS I HAVE EVER READ .. ALSO NEVER SAW THAT COMING. I DON’T THINK ANYONE DID OR COULD EVEN PREDICT THIS ONE!! WOW THAT WAS GOOD!!
