It was ok sequel. But for some reason I can't remember much of what happened in this novel. I guess it did drag a but in the middle. But I will still continue with this series

I would give this one 4.5 stars. I think the writing was better in this one than in the first book. I'm very interested to see where this story goes.

Cassie Claire—or Cassandra Clare, as she's now going by—is a plagiarist and bully. Her writing is terrible, and I loathe her work.

DNF. Jace moved firmly to a position of 'I simply do not care about these people' after he said a slur. Even Simon couldn't save this one. The entertainment value of comparing it to the much better TV show isn't enough either. Cassie, if you ever write a Simon solo, I'll read it.
