Thank you Matt for giving me a copy of your book, I liked this book so much, and more than the first one in the series.
I had really enjoyed the first book in this series, so I had high expectations for the follow-up, and it met every demand. I love the characters and their storylines, I love the build-up to the conflict and the conflicts that we see in the book. Characters are so well developed, it's always a plus when this happens! I enjoyed this one more than the first book, maybe the third one will be my favorite of the three.
This book takes place 5 years after the events of the last book, but we do have glimpses of what happened. For me the highlight of the author should go to combat/conflicts, I think he does those scenes so brilliantly, I just want to keep turning the page to find out what is coming next.
Overall, I really appreciate it and highly recommend it for those who enjoy revenge, dark tales, fantasy...
