I was unprepared for this book to be even better than [b:Leviathan Wakes|8855321|Leviathan Wakes (The Expanse, #1)|James S.A. Corey|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1411013134l/8855321._SY75_.jpg|13730452]. I enjoyed the new characters: Prax, Avasarala, and Bobbie. The world building in this book was excellent, and all of the characters felt authentic. Prax seeks Holden's help to find his missing daughter, Mei. Avasarala is playing the game, trying to maintain power, and uncover the truth about what is happening on Venus. It took me an embarrassingly long time to realize that Luna was the name for Earth's moon. Fans of [b:The Three-Body Problem|20518872|The Three-Body Problem (Remembrance of Earth’s Past #1)|Liu Cixin|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1415428227l/20518872._SY75_.jpg|25696480] and [b:The Dark Forest|23168817|The Dark Forest (Remembrance of Earth’s Past, #2)|Liu Cixin|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1412064931l/23168817._SY75_.jpg|42713958] will love this book.

Incredible ending/cliffhanger
Love the new characters
I still think Naomi falls a bit flat but at least Avasarala and Bobbie prove they can write women with depth
Spoiler although I could do without the mentions of how Big Bobbie is & how she exudes sexual attraction because of this. I am always watching when men step out of line

I think if I were a glopol student or more into reading political novels the politics in this book would irk me but as it is I'm just mildly like ? About all the motivations
