I wish graphic novels had been around when I was a kid. Not that I didn't love to read, but I would have appreciated the variety that kids today have.

Een nieuwe (nou ja voor mij) Niek de Groot en ik heb weer genoten. Jaarboeken (nog steeds zo'n vreemd concept), vermiste camera's, nette Nieks, ruzies met vrienden (vertel nooit een geheim) en nog meer!
Ik vond het wel mooi dat zodra hij netjes was hij ook meteen tienen haalde. Vaak komt Niek over als een enorme domme jongen, maar blijkbaar heeft hij dus wel intelligentie. Haha. Hij moest alleen wat netter zijn zodat ook zijn leraren er wat mee kunnen. En ik moet zeggen dat ik nette Niek veel leuker en sympathieker vond dan hoe hij normaal is. Goed, het is voor hem niet makkelijk en het duurt soms eeuwig voordat hij klaar is met iets, maar toch, veel betere Niek.
Oh, en Randy mag van mij eens ver oprotten. :| Net zoals Gina. Maar Randy is net ietsje erger. Dus die meer.
De code was een leuk idee.. alleen las ik dit op een tablet via de app van de Online Bieb, en tja. Het was al een dingetje om steeds de volgende pagina te openen dus laat maar zitten het feit dat ik ook nog eens terug zou moeten. Dus die codes heb ik maar laten liggen.

Its a really good book in the big nate series. Although it feels short, its still one of my favorites

Definitely not the funniest Big Nate book. The jokes were a little forced and unoriginal. However, like the previous Big Nate books, the story was cute, relatable, and very age appropriate.

Nate is back in school and it's yearbook time. Last year Nick Blonsky (sp?) messed up the yearbook but good. So Nate joins the club. But when he finds out that Gina had declared herself editor, Nate decides to nominate Francis as co-editor. Then he takes it upon himself to become the yearbook photographer. Of course, he can't be trusted with the school's camera so Francis checks it out and gives it to Nate. It survives a toss from Randy but then it disappears from Nate's locker and Francis takes the blame. But their friendship is strained almost to the breaking point. The only thing Nate can do to save it is figure out who stole
