didn't like either characters. the supposed hatred towards each other was petty and childish.
Also him giving therapy to her daughter was problematic too

I enjoyed this a lot even though I'm a smut girly and this COULD NOT be cleaner! It is a fade to black sort of clean romance. Really wholesome at times but also very fun and bantery. Gotta admit I do love an enemies to lovers moment. Overall a really pleasant and easy read.

Look, I'm not even going to try to be delicate. I thought this was a light read, which I needed, and it was: no one died or was destitute (at least not up to chapter 5 where I DNFed).

BUT... I found the heroine to be a complete bitch. She's a divorce attorney who (not being satisfied with the large number of people ACTUALLY determined to get divorced) stands in the way of unsure couples interested in trying to make their marriage work, JUST SO SHE CAN HAVE CLIENTS. In a ROMANCE BOOK. She also offers her best friend advice to get a prenup IN THE SAME MOMENT SHE TOLD HER SHE JUST GOT ENGAGED! Not later after the celebration... No. IN THE SAME PHONE CALL!!! Her BEST FRIEND! Oh, oh, oh, and she is unpleasant and unkind to the men she interacts with! Now, can someone please explain to me why the fuck I should care if this bitter bitch gets to be in a love relationship at some point in the book? Not interested. At. All.

I really loved their story, it was beyond just opposites attract, I thought they were quite similar but thought they were very much opposite. I liked that he developed the relationship slowly, and feel first, and she took her sweet time to have a moment and figure it out, it was sweet and rom-com-y and cute, and I keep on needing them, so I hope they keep on coming.
