This is only the second book in the series and I am highly addicted to it. I don't think I will ever get enough of these characters. This will be one of those series I re-read over and over because I can't get enough.

It has been a year since Meghan found out who she truly is. She is trying to balance being a teenager in high school in the human world, along with trying to find her place in Eile as she is of Faelorehn. Her friends and family have no idea that she is an immortal being from another realm. The only person she is close to who knows her secret is Cade.

Will she be able to balance everything out? Can she keep her family from finding out who she really is? Will she ever truly find out where she belongs?

The book is well written, smooth flowing and easy to read. The characters and their emotions are raw and real. The imagery is very vivid. I can't wait to see what happens next. I love everything about this book/series.

This second book pulled at the heartstrings a lot. I read it in a single day. Literally could not put it down (and admittedly the only reason I put the first one down at all was because my kindle died). It had the same great pacing, but with a little extra danger added in. I liked being able to get to know Cade's character a little more. I find first person very immersing, but also limiting because you only truly know that one person. Like most men, he doesn't open up too much. I'm hoping he will in the third book. She visits the otherworld several times, but never for long. She truly feels like it's home, but doesn't know much of it at all. In the end, she does find the courage to stand up for herself. She's not the strong female lead type, but she is still only 18 and this was a lot to be thrown into. There was more drama in this one, but it was believable, and we've all been there, too.

I'm really looking forward to the third book, and hoping to find out more about the otherworld, Cade and to see Meghan grow up into a stronger woman.
