The characters really frustrated me and it was a pretty dark story. Trigger warnings for those who have dealt with SA, suicidal thoughts or attempts.

After reading other reviews left I decided to change my review. Although I did enjoy this book it is not a book that everyone will enjoy. Due largely to potentially triggering themes and scenes within the book. Without these scenes and elements this book would of been an amazing and imaginative adaptation of the story. Blending elements of the film and classic story as well as a elements of mythology/folklore.
