- This has been described as part Percy Jackson part Hunger Games, but the high school and Gold vs Jade dichotomy really reminded me of My Hero Academia as well!
- Loved the trading cards on Aiden Thomas' instagram! They were so helpful for keeping the ten competitors and their godly parents straight (except a bunch are LGBT, so not straight exactly).
- I loved the way the competition played out, and I did not see the ending coming! I can't wait for the sequel!
