Very cute friends to lovers rom-com. Barely any spice but still enjoyable.
Moderate: Death of parent, Grief, Cancer, Chronic illness, and Fatphobia

Miscommunication always makes me scream internally but it was still an enjoyable ride. The MCs had good chemistry and their friends weren't just NPCs, they were well rounded.
spice 🌶 - a 3 🌶 spicy
length - just right, not too long, not too short
reading speed - read in 2 days
Minor: Chronic illness and Death of parent

3.5
More like 3.5 for me because at the end
I truly love You've Got Mail, but I think because Millie knew the entire time that she was talking to Reid, the deception was more problematic for me. The camaraderie and friendship in the group is nice, but sometimes the other three friends (Ed, Alex, and Chris) almost felt more like stock characters and were truly side characters. They are also all academics (which I love) but their academic lives are almost incidental to the plot and character.
It's also not closed door, but it is a lower spice level.
Not my favorite CL book, but I'm still going to keep making my way through their backlog.
