first of all, just made me even more obsessed with colleen’s writing. this was so good this was so beautiful. the relationship development and the character development was LITERALLY amazing. i loved miles and tate’s story so much, it felt pretty realistic to me! i’m sure some people might even somewhat relate to miles and tate’s journey <3

I’m learning that just because you read a book really fast, doesn’t make it a top tier read. Although I read it in 2 sittings, I don’t really know how I feel about it. I liked the 2 POVs and duel timelines, but this book screamed “you need to go to therapy”. The extreme lack of communication was a turn off for me. And it’s a situation I’m sure every woman can relate to. Man refuses to deal with trauma, man expects woman to put up with it, woman tries to be therapist, man acts like an asshole. But it was still a fast story at least. I just didn’t completely love it.

I had this on my TBR for 6 years and WOW was it worth the wait! I know so many people hate on Colleen and this book but I loved it. I was expecting Miles to be a lot worse but I didn't feel he was a bad man at all he was just being a little baby and didn't wanna own up to his feelings which I get, so I won't hold it against him. Does Tate deserve better....yes but at the end I think Miles proved himself so I'm okay with it.
