Well this second novel in the series was just as delightful as the first book! I don’t know what it is about Melanie and her dysfunctional family, sweet southern mannerisms, out of luck romances, and paranormal antics but I love it all!

There’s just enough ghost encounters to keep me in suspense without giving me all the night terrors!

3.5 really. I liked the new characters and am happy to see that Melanie is sort of growing up but she's not there yet.

Still lots of annoying things, but something about it keeps me reading. These are fun books.

I'm listening to the third book instead of reading it and I love that it's read with a southern accent.

I love Karen White's ghost stories. She does a great job at writing and unraveling mysteries. What I didn't care for was the on again/off again relationship between the main character and Jack. I do not care for stories that drag out the romantic storyline to create tension. I would much rather have the characters enter into a relationship and have that develop. Like many others, I found this very annoying.

I will probably read the next book in hopes that things progress a bit, but may not get farther than that if they don't.

I enjoyed this book - like the first book parts of it were long and drawn out and I lost interest but then other parts I couldn’t put down and enjoyed the solving of the mysteries. Wilheim was my favorite part :-)

AWESOME. Fantastic follow up to House on Tradd Street. Never disappointed with Karen White.

I enjoy the way Karen White writes but this book wasn't as good as the first one. The story dragged on and felt like it went in circles. I like the how the relationship evolves between Melanie and her mother but the one between her and Jack feels forced the whole time. Not nearly as fun as the first book.

A slow start, but turned into an interesting mystery. Another fun, entertaining read.

The second book in the Tradd Street series about Melanie and Jack. Another great ghost story, this time involving Melanie's mother's house in Charleston. I can't wait until the next one comes out this November.
