It's getting twisted once again

I was relieved that the buyer was indeed a relative of Rei, but it was a shocker that he's actually Rei's legal father. I wasn't expecting that, and I wasn't expecting that he was actually a good guy. And his mother might be a lunatic—I mean, you should protect your son, not make him feel the hurt you feel for him to understand how you're hurting. Crazy stuff. Now that I think about it, that's one hell of a deranged family—one crazy gene passed to another (I dunno where Masao came from, lol. Maybe their lost child! Kidding!) Even Rei has his weird, intense streaks. Even the revelation about Sei's real self. Also, I'm starting to hate Sei. Are there any more surprises? Because I'm losing my mind now, if I haven't lost it from Uzumaki yet. Also, this series is just so good!! I really love it.

Rei is the type of guy that Kira couldn't stand; flirty, reckless, and a biker. When a chance encounter leads to Rei saving Kira from a teacher with bad intentions, neither of them know the extent to which the other will impact them.

On the outside, MARS is a typical coming-of-age story centered on the relationship between good girl and a bad boy. But underneath the romance lie stories of suicide, rape and murder; the idea that everyone has a secret to hide, even those who seem most innocent. When the dark pasts of Rei and Kira come to light, they struggle to keep their relationship together.

This is definitely one of my favorite manga series out there, I highly recommend it for the shoujo fan! :)

I’m surprised that Rei’s Dad helped them out. I’m also surprised that Rei is following through with his promise of not riding motorcycles anymore. Is the fact that he’s so distant with his dad in his head or is it because his dad doesn’t like him because he’s the son of his brother. What exactly did Kira find? Is that how Sei really was? And did Rei really kill the kid that was beating up his brother?
