It's been a while since I read the first volume of this series, so I didn't remember much. Still, it's nice to see Vader again (especially as I've been on a high since watching the Kenobi mini-series).
This volume doesn't go as deep into Vader's thoughts and struggle, but you can still see a bit of Anakin getting through, like in the way hedestroyed the information with the names of force-sensitive younglings . It's interesting to see the progression of Vader as a villain.
I still don't understand what the meditation scenes are exactly, but it's fine. Maybe we'll get a better explanation in vol 3 or 4.
