Livvie deserved better. I was not a fan of Tobias nor who Livvie became when with him.

I really liked the writing style and engaging characters, which quickly drew me into this story.
I enjoyed this couple together, there's tension, angst and great steamy moments.
The heroine is interesting, knows herself and doesn't conform to society norms. I do like a broody, complex hero, but his self-denial and treatment of the heroine became a bit frustrating... however I really liked the unique way he was finally able to reveal his feelings and in doing so lower his self-imposed constraints.
Looking forward to reading more by this author!

🌶🌶🌶

This was another great Stacy Reid book and I flew through this audiobook. Thank god Stacy has a better narrator for this series.

I really loved the heroine and how feisty she was. She was a complete hoyden, much to Tobias' regret. She was pretty badass. I also loved how she went toe to toe with Tobias and didn't take his attitude or judgements. Tobias could be really frustrating with his refusal to have feeling or fall in love, but I understood his reasons.

The best part was his big gesture and groveling. He stepped up.
