This was my first who was book and I really liked it! It took me 45 minutes to read, I learned a lot and have a new appreciation for Eleanor Roosevelt. Now I know why everyone reads these!

I do wish they would have put an explanation about the incest. “Incest is not okay, but it was seen as acceptable when her and Franklin married.” Cause that was… awkward.

I am continuing to really like this series. I learned a lot from this book and I think students would really enjoy the wide range of topics this series covers.

I have always liked Eleanor Roosevelt. She is a great role model and modernized the role of the First Lady!

I had to read this one after reading about FDR. Though this disclosed something negative about Franklin Roosevelt that wasn't mentioned in the book about him. Seeing as they are written for kids, I guess I can understand that. Good little book about Eleanor.
