Another fun, cozy mystery with Jessica Fletcher investigating the death of an old friend who predicted his own demise. Can Jessica find out the truth before the killer catches her too?

3.5 This was a fun (on the shorter end) read that had more substance than usual in a MSW book. I did find the "wrap up" too quick and unsatisfying, but enjoyed the events leading up to the "whodunnit".

I love the show so it was easy to be absorbed into the book! I read it in 2 sittings!

I love MSW- so I'm a little pained to rate this installment 3 stars. It was enjoyable but not as fast paced as they usually are. It was EXACTLY what I needed though- light (but smart).

this is a fun MSW book. there was some surprising, weird humor (something like Cecil eating french fries). I love the concept that the characters have continued on after the TV series ended, with JB Fletcher moving back to Cabot Cove. it's really not quite the same as Angela Lansbury, but I wouldn't even expect it to be. I also enjoyed the little Halloween bits and the whimsy in the idea of everyone in Cabot Cove gossiping about ghosts (+ Mrs. Fletcher with an actual ghost).

I sort of had this one figured out early on (at least parts of it), but good ol' familiar Jessica Fletcher is always a comfort!
