Honor Among Thieves is definitely not one of Jeffrey Archer's best works. The plot was kind of lame to be honest. Somewhere in the middle I lost interest in it and kept it aside for a few weeks then resumed it. The characters are adequate. I couldn't connect with any of them and for some strange reason I found Scott annoying which is a pretty big deal because he happens to be one of the main characters.

I think Jeffrey Archer could have done a better job with this book. I just wished it wasn't about stealing the Declaration of Independence. To be honest, there are too many movies and books based on it that it's repetitive and to have a guy like Sadam Hussein who was a tyrant steal it, is just plain dumb.

Overall, I'd give this book a 3.5 rating.

Another of Archer's book I could not put down, he is gifted with the ability of great story telling. True to the book's title you see that there is no Honor Among Thieves. Granted this is fiction but some of the plot flirted with be downright ridiculous, that I could do without. Aside from that I found the book really entertaining and I enjoyed reading it.

The start was a bit slow. In beginning we don't understand what is going on which keeps us going. I enjoyed this one very well.

Very fun! I enjoyed all the cloak and dagger mystery and adventure - especially involving the Declaration of Independence. There is some violence, but it is never too graphic. I was afraid the story might seem dated, but it really didn't since it is set so firmly in 1993. Now I need to plan a trip to Washington, D.C.! And I'll definitely be reading more Jeffrey Archer in the future.
