Well, I'm not for sure if I'm going to read the 3rd book in the series or not.  The first book I gave three stars and this one I gave 2.5 stars, and that should tell you something about the book.  I just wasn't a huge fan of the storyline of this book and Celeste is not my fave character at all.  When it comes to her friends, Celeste is a follower, and they are a leader.  She's afraid to tell them the truth and the worst part is her ex-boyfriend (or supposedly ex-boyfriend) is blackmailing her into dating him.  My fave character who Celeste is hiding from everyone, Brandon is trying to find out the legend of the werewolf curse.
I'm just not a fan of a whiny girl who can't say what she thinks to her friends.  She doesn't want to be shunned out of the circle.  She can't believe for her damn self and, everyone makes up her mind for her. It's driving me friggin' crazy.  Ahh!!
Why would you have friends that treat you that way and have a guy blackmail you?
Oh and the kicker is something that happens in this book that I was expecting.  Yup...no doubt about it I was able to figure out the minute I found out the clues.  Of course, the ending left you hanging.
I'm not a huge fan of this series so far.  I will give it one more try...maybe.  It depends on my reading pile at the time the 3rd book comes out.
I'm still a fan of the "Vampire Kisses" Series by Ellen which is sadly coming to an end.  Now the female and male character there is my favorite duo from Ellen.
I recommend this book to anyone who loves YA Paranormal...especially teens...but unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend to any of my adult friends who are addicted to ADULT Paranormal.   They would probably stop reading after the first chapter.  That's my opinion though.

I like this series in the aspect of the love triangle was not a triangle. The main character stayed true to her feelings and didn't play the field.

The first book was bad enough, I don't know why I decided to read this one. Let's just say the main character is naive and stupid. Her friends are shallow. He ex boyfriend is an idiot and the whole darn book was STUPID. It absolutely irked my nerve to read it. And once again in the end of this book she left every question unanswered and not a single solution to the problem They have gotten no where. Not to mention she keeps repeating the same things over and let her friends push her around. This book shouldn't exist!Gawd it sucked.

Ellen Schreiber is my go to for a soft supernatural love story. With the male lead always being the perfect sweet guy and the female being someone I can relate to in some way or another. I couldn't put this book down.
First off though.. Nash is a jerk. there were multiple times I physically had to place the book down and clench my fists because I wanted to punch him I loved to hate him even though Celeste never did. Brandon had a few words for Nash that I LOVED.

Nash "you have to have a girl fight your battles?"
Brandon's response "Your girl."
OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH
Sorry one of my favorite parts.
None of the gore and all of the supernatural love and jealous ex boyfriends you can handle wrapped into one.

While this was a good book it wasn't really all that exciting. I found myself wanting to finish it quickly for the sake of finishing it, not so I'd know what happened. All in all it was a good read despite all the lovey dovey stuff and the characters were good if not a bit shallow and slightly boring at times.

"Beware of the bite under a full moon … It will complicate your love life"

In the second book of the Full Moon series, Celeste and Brandon take it into their own hands to find a cure for Brandon's weird 'condition'. But when Nash won't accept that Celeste has moved on and to a westsider, her love life gets pretty complicated. With her and Brandon trying to keep their relationship a secret until they find a cure and Nash now showing his love … a little too late, how will Celeste every be able to keep all this stress to herself. And what about what Dr. Meadow's creeping prophecy … it was right the last time, will it be correct now?
