Funny and fun read. A little long but enough twists to keep it interesting!

This was a surprisingly fun adventurous urban fantasy story, involving dragons, magic, Detroit?? Julius was sweet, and reading from his and Marci's POVs were fun and interesting, and the bits of world building and lore scattered throughout this makes me excited to grab the rest in the series. There's a fair bit of humor, and although the action takes a little bit to get going, it becomes a really quick read after your characters, setting, and motivations get set!

"Twenty-four-year-old dragons should be out making names for them-selves! Not living at home with their mothers!”

And so, Julius is abandoned in Detroit, where being a dragon is illegal, to make a name for himself, his matriarch mother promising death if he does not find a better interest than video gaming.

I needed a shorter, funny, and fun-filled book to break up some of my longer, darker, heavy fantasy reads and this just sounded too sweet to miss!

Whilst a bit on the nose, this was a fluffy, cute read. If you liked legends and lattes, I think you would enjoy this!

Er.... Nope!
DNF @chapter2

Stiliņš no brīvdienas rīta filmām. Tā pūķu transformācija cilvēkos vispār ir...why?? what? *cringe* Neizdevās veiksmīgi izbraukt ar to visu. Maskējās labi, bet ir vien kārtējā so/so novele.

Light and fun with lots of action. The main character is adorkable, but not pathetic, and I enjoy how Marci is the typical street rascal with a had edge (usually reserved for the male character), but also bubbly, sarcastic, and enthusiastic.
