Kind of an odd convoluted story, but the pictures are cute and I think kids would like it.

I like Scott Campbell's Illustrations on this one but the story is a bit unusual.

I love how this book compares the differing mythology of Eastern and Western dragons, as well as showing how we can overcome differences and unfounded prejudices.

East Dragon and West Dragon have never met, and they don't plan to. Each believes the other is scary. When a brave king and his hardy nights learn that West Dragon isn't the only fearsome creature out there, some dragons might have to step in to save the day.

I love dragons. I particularly appreciated the way that this book shows how different cultures value different things. When one takes the time to get to know someone, however, differences can't stop friendships from forming.

Different from the typical picture book. I really liked this one - could be used to discuss different points of view, different cultures. Fun artwork, too.
