idk what people (booktok) are on about bashing the blood and ash & flesh and fire series’s. they’re blinded by acotar (which to be fair i have yet to read) these books im honestly obsessed with. i slurp them up like the best noodle soup money can buy. highly recommend reading the blood&ash series first. the only note i have is in the dialogue its a little too modern for my taste but thats just me being finicky.

Love Sera’s character. 
Love Nyktos’ character.
Loved the enemies to lovers content.
I love a slow burn but my god was this burn practically a sloth.
I have so many questions and I have immediately forgotten pretty much the entire book.
This whole book was one big info dump and without the help of my trusty friend Shan explaining things to me and also going back through her tabs of the previous FBAA books to link things up I’d be so lost right now. My brain hurts and I don’t wanna have to work this hard when reading.
Plot was good though so I guess JLA is forgiven for frying my brain cells.

Pretty good! I’m definitely absolutely obsessed with Ash. One of my favorites of that trope in a long time. Love the side characters. Hoping for more resolution and clarity in a war of two queens but we’ll see. !!

This book was great. At first, I was kinda peeved because the story felt like a carbon copy of Poppy and Casteel. But then, DADDY NYKTOS SUCKED ME IN. Omg I love him, I am SO excited to finally dive into War of Two Queens now that I’ve read this!! I feel primed and READY TO RUMBLEEEE YESSS
