[2.75 stars] this book seemed to be perfect for me but unfortunately it seems it came at a wrong time and it's possibly too late for me to enjoy this for what it is. i would've loved it so much more if it hadn't been half fiction and half non-fiction (it's a philosophy book and a mistery novel all at once), and if it hadn't been written for children — it's a good thing because it makes it accessible and anyone can enjoy it, really, but it just doesn't do it for me.

Cocok untuk orang--seperti saya--yang belum mengenal filsafat. Buku ini lebih ke membahas tentang sejarah filsafat, mulai dari filsafat kuno hingga filsafat modern. Rasanya seperti belajar filsafat dengan cara yang menyenangkan melalui tokoh-tokoh fiksi.
Untuk orang yang sudah cukup mengenal filsafat dan ingin belajar lebih lanjut mungkin buku ini kurang cocok karna hanya membahas apa yang ada di permukaan, tidak benar-benar digali ke bagian yang lebih detail.

Kein Buch, um es in einem Rutsch zu lesen, weil es sehr langatmig werden kann. Aber es hat mir gut gefallen, immer mal ein Kapitel zu lesen.

I enjoyed the book as a whole, but the slow pacing makes it hard to get through. The plot is rather odd, it is mostly the philosophical part that is intriguing. If learning about ohilosophy is the goal, then I'd recommend the book, because it makes it accesible. But uf that doesn't interest you, the book simply isn't interesting. The premiss was good, but I find the resolution at the end a bit unsatisfying.

I think this book is one of the best that is ever written. It is a story that takes me in it and doesn't let me come out of it until I am done. My favourite book of all time, doubt that it will ever be beaten!

The mystery was cool, but philosophy becomes part of plot of the book a little boring, skipped on the lessons.
