Luca might never become queen. Touraine might be part of a stillborn government. Dark days ahead. Will they help or hinder each other?

I started this book, got two chapters in, then realized I needed to re-read the first book to remember who all the side-characters where. Whoops! Didn't mind revisiting the first book though, it was thrilling the second time around too.

Enjoyed this sequel! It builds on the first book and gives you the progress and the setbacks that the events in the first book logically would lead to. Don't want to spoil anything. Let's just say that all character development and relationship developments were well foreshadowed and interesting to come along with, and meshed well with the plot developments related to the magic and politics.

Can't wait for book three!

I really hope we get a threesome between Tour, Lucas and Sabine in the next book.

This book contained some great political intrigue and I loved the development of the relationship between Touraine and Luca. I would like to read the final book in this trilogy as soon as it is physically possible to.

Book two of the Magic of the Lost series, I enjoyed this thoroughly, though probably not as much as the first. I loved the swap to a newer setting and newer characters, ESPECIALLY Sabine. She was an absolute delight to read. I'm always a sucker for more of the sapphic pining, and amazing character development, especially for Luca. I'm entranced and I am excited for the next book.
