Jan 2023 - I found this one a little harder to read compared to the first as I struggled to keep up with the multiple POVs but it was nice continuing on with the characters you met in the first book. Also I’m not sure if I missed a trigger warning but there was heavy discussion on self h*arm and s*xual assault amongst other things so a pre warning if you’re planning on reading!
Reread*** Oct 2024 - Again, heavy on the self harm, sexual assault, abuse and violence in this so please be aware before reading. This is my second time reading and I would say that I really liked how much more family moments there were in this. You could tell everyone in the family were going through their own struggles and I enjoyed seeing how much all the siblings care for each other and others. I also liked how we see more of Boyd, Lynch and Kirby and them working more as a team unit.
