Just ok, definitely feel like I was reading a King novel. Kind of fun though and a relatively short read.

So very different from King's usual writing that it's almost difficult to believe it is him! The style is simple and straight-forward, but charming all the same. Greatly enjoyed this one.

I absolutely loved this book. The characters are so well developed, quirky, gross, and weird that I could not put it down.

This book reads very much like you're sitting, listening to someone tell you a story. I'm simply not a fan of this style.

A fun but simple tale of the kingdom of Delain. King attempts to write his own Hobbit or Narnia and the results are...perfectly alright. Three stars out of five.

Loved the book. Totally unexpected plot twists and kept me wanting to read especially toward the end. Loved reading on Audible! The person reading did an amazing job with voices for the characters.
