I found this way to relatable like Emily Austen is in my walls

This book was slow at parts but overall enjoyable as someone who used to hyper fixate on death. I found some parts repetitive but the ending made up for it. It gives me dear Evan Hansen vibes.

This was delightful. I feel seen and understood, and though the book is heavy in its constant reflections on mortality and loss, there's something almost hopeful in the way Gilda navigates the world.

This book started with the funniest chapter of any book I have ever read. The main character, Gilda, is instantly loveable. Which made the rest of this book detailing her depression and anxiety so much more painful to read. This book was so so lovely but at times repetitive and darker than I was expecting so just be aware of that. Otherwise a wonderfully crafted story :)

This was unlike any book I have ever read. It was so raw and real, scarily so. Anxiety and depression can be so debilitating and this is really shown through Gilda’s character. I need to read the rest of Emily’s books asap.
