This was a nice quick read, good but predictable. Definitely check trigger warnings because child sexual abuse is referenced in this book.

This was an excellent book. It was an easy and fast read and it certainly can make a heart break thinking about all the injustice that is done to our children, the ones that can't protect themselves!

Follow along with Frankie as she tries to figure out what is going on in her little town in Minnesota as she tries to keep herself safe from all the ones that should be protecting her.

I was expecting to be blown away and have some tough parts to read given reviews I read. But despite it being about a satanic cult and child abuse, it was not very descriptive so definitely no trigger warning needed for the book. It was a good read and interesting, not my favorite of hers I have read. My mind wasn’t blown and I wasn’t disturbed. Nothing went into graphic details unlike other books like Verity. It’s a sad story and I loved all the plant personalities. That was a sweet touch
