Kirkman recupera su buen hacer con nuevos personajes y situaciones. Tiene pinta de ponerse todavía más interesante a partir del siguiente.

This covers comic issues 127-132. This is the aftermath of the war with Negan. It appears as quite a bit of time has passed as they’ve got things like a mill set up, they’ve got everyone doing specific jobs and it starts off with a group of them diverting a herd of zombies away from the settlement. It also shows us a new group that have opted to join Rick’s group. There are a few different storylines, like a group going out to find someone that was missing, Rick taking Carl to Hilltop and the newbies skulking around. It was good!

I really liked this one. It was fairly peaceful, especially at the beginning where we got to see people farming and getting on with their lives. It was sweet. I’m not entirely sure how else they’re going to deal with it now. I know there are about 10 more of these volumes so I don’t want it to get samey with ‘enemy, lots of dealing with them, Rick’s group wins’ etc.

After the boring drawn out story with Negan things are looking much more interesting. Glad I slogged through the last couple volumes to get to this one.

FINALLY!!! CHANGE!!!

Things are looking up *significantly* for our main cast of characters and I couldn't be more thrilled (though, of course, there's a new threat on the horizon, we'll see just how big it is later I suppose). Can't wait to see where the story goes from here.

I started reading the comics after I had watched the show, and while they were quite similar, the show definitely takes some liberties, the same thing will happen, but maybe to a different character, or in a different timeline.
I stopped watching the show a long time ago, but I would still be interested in finishing the comics.
I definitely enjoyed the comic more than the show, the show was often slow, while the comics are fast paced and a really easy read.

A few years later all things have changed. I'm glad to see that things are better now. There isn't much action during this comic despite the size of it, but the end alone fills the action of a whole comic. I had a terrible nausea reading the end, let's say I would have passed some drawings. As usual I look forward to reading more, especially following the final event.
