I feel like im a minority here when i say that even thos i like dark romance, this was just painful to read.
I get bullying but this was just too heartless and i barely got through this book, like through first three. Cruelty was almost unnecessary and the girl just seems like a dumb rag that cant think for herself. i think i outgrew these kinds of books looong time ago.

This review is for the 3 books telling the story of Lavinia, Nick, Sy, and Remy's relationship.

5 stars.

I love them. I love Nick. I love Remi. I love Sy. I fucking love Lavinia.

When I read the Lord's book, I wasn't a fan of the writing. It was choppy and a bit fanficky. I saw potential there, though.

And here? For the Dukes? Let me tell you, the authors stepped the fuck up.

Each book is about 600 pages. These are dark books, full of action, drama, triggers, violence, twisted politics, psychos, and absolutely horrible people. And I fucking devoured it. I couldn't for the life of me stop reading. I stayed up 'till 5 AM I don't even know how many days. I had to bribe myself with chapters to do anything at all. It was awfully addictive and I loved every fucking second.

Each character was so well written, so flashed out. I understand each and every one of them deeply. I understand their friendship, their love, their lust, their passion. I get them and I love them and all I want is for them to keep being the badass son of bitches they are (Lavinia included, obviously).

I can't wait for all the old Kings to fall and all the new Kings and Queens to rise. I am so ready for it.

God, I love this series so much I can't believe it.

I love the characters and friendships and romances, but I also love the plot?? In a dark reverse harem romance?? This is insane. I'm insane. That's the only explanation.

But at least I'm not alone.
