I enjoyed the book and was surprised by the ending. Though I would have liked a more definitive ending, I liked being surprised by who the murderer was. I do wonder though Overall it was a twisty thriller that I enjoyed, with just that one plot hole.

if Officer Wallace was a red herring or why she was in the book but not mentioned with the serial child murderer. Was it because of the time gap?
